With Your Child This Week

1.     Talk about your child’s favourite Lakewood Idol performance

2.     Ask your child how paper is made

3.     Have your child find things that start with V around your house and community

4.     Talk about how we made the Mother’s Day gifts (after Sunday!!!!)

What we did this week at school

*Did tactile V with vines and violets

*Worked on the number 20

*Did bingo dapper 10 frames

*Had Lakewood Idol

*Went to the Children’s Museum

*Did domino parking lot

*Sorted 3-D objects by their characteristics (roll, slide, both)

*Played Tally Tally Clap!

*Printed the letter Vv

*Looked up some of our houses on Google Earth

Thursday, May 16^th – Welcome to Kindergarten (for students registered for

Kindergarten beginning in September 2013)

            Friday, May 17^th – Ms. Watts is away all day

            Monday, May 20^th – Victoria Day (no school)

Tuesday, May 21^st – Early dismissal @ 2:55pm

Wednesday, May 22^nd – Glenlea flower pick up

1.    Our field trip was AWESOME!!  Thanks to all the volunteers who came to help us out.  Make sure to ask your child about their favourite part!!!
