With Your Child This Week

1.     Talk about things that are naturally green

2.     Play a game of concentration/memory

3.     Talk about numbers that make 10 (using the words “2 and 8 make 10”)

4.     Name the colours of the rainbow in order (R, O, Y, G, B, P)

What we did this week at school

* Had green day for St. Patrick’s Day

* Did green colour detectives

* Wrote about what we treasured

* Finished our shamrocks

* Did Lucky Charm sorting

* Made “The Colour Green” book

* Made a graph of all our green clothes

Some Important Dates to Remember

            Monday, March 24^th – Wacky Hair Day

                                                    - Pizza lunch orders due

            Tuesday, March 25^th – Pattern Day (polka dots, stripes, plaid, etc.)

                                                    - Pizza Lunch Day

            Wednesday, March 26^th – Excessive Accessories Day

            Thursday, March 27^th – PJ Day

            Friday, March 28^th – Jersey Day

                                                - Last day of school before Spring Break

            March 31^st – April 4^th – Spring Break (No School)

            Tuesday, April 8^th – Early dismissal at 2:55pm

Important Information

1.    After Spring Break, the kinders will be going outside with the regular duty teachers.  This will be a change as they are used to speaking with us about recess issues.  Please remind them that if they have problems, that they can speak to any adult outside during this time.  If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us.

2.    As the snow is finally melting, we understand that puddles are tons of fun.  Please remind your child that we stay out of puddles at school.  Thanks!
