Important Information

1.  Wednesday, October 16th is going to be YELLOW day!!!  If your child has yellow clothing to wear that is great (please don’t buy anything new).  Also, if you have naturally yellow snacks that you would like to send in, please feel free!!

2. Friday, October 18th is our first special lunch day.  Special lunch orders will be handed out to those students who ordered.  All other children will eat their regular lunch.  All children will be eating in their regular lunchroom with the supervisor.

3. You might have heard your child talking about “filling up buckets”.  We have been reading the book “Have You Filled A Bucket Today?”.  This story talks about how everyone has an invisible bucket.  When we do or say things to make people feel happy, their bucket (and ours) gets filled up.  When we say or do something unkind, buckets get emptied.  We encourage you to have a look at this book and use some of the same language at home, as we help to develop kind, caring and empathetic kinders!!

Have a great and thankful long weekend!!
